Due to the accident, the fast train from Varna to Plovdiv was cancelled
A train hit a man near the Yambol village of Zavoy. The incident took place around 18:50, the Regional Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs confirmed.
The accident occurred when the train from Sofia to Burgas entered the area of the station in Zavoy. According to initial information, the hit man was transporting wood on a bicycle and illegally crossed the tracks. The scene of the accident is being examined.
The composition is standing at the station, it is clear from the BDZ website. Due to the incident, the fast train from Varna to Plovdiv in the Zimnitsa – Yambol section was also cancelled. Passengers are transported by buses.
