The civil guard of Villamayor de Santiago completes the walking route from Cuenca to Granada | be_basin | Today for Today Cuenca

Victor Henares has arrived this Friday, May 7 at Belicena, his hometown, belonging to the Granada municipality of Vegas del Genil. Behind there are 350 kilometers of walking route from Villamayor de Santiago, a town in La Mancha de Cuenca from which it departed on April 29 and where it is destined as Civil Guard. Henares set himself this challenge to honor the covid victims and he has achieved it not without difficulty “because some stages have been tough, because of the distance and the difficulty of the route, like the day I crossed the olive groves of Torreperogil, but it was worth it for the support I received before starting the route and also at many points along the route ”, as Víctor Henares told us in an interview in Today for Today Cuenca.
