The football club Doncaster Rovers in England is in trouble after serving what some call the ugliest burger in world history.
Now the Facebook post is going viral.

«There is nothing like a sunny morning with football on the field and atmosphere in the stands (…)»
How to start a group post published on Doncaster Rovers Football Club fan page on Facebook on Saturday 1 March.
Already on the next line, however, the pipa gets one quite other sound.
It is a particularly “hangry” football supporter who is behind the Facebook post, and he is anything but satisfied with the food options in the stands on this otherwise cheerful morning:
Rage after this: – Unacceptable!
” … Until you are served a sad, disgusting, pale and wet little chip, wrapped in a wheat bun with a tossed, frozen piece of cheese on it!??!?!”, rages the author of the post, adding that the so-called “burger” went for the tidy sum of NOK 65.
To the text he adds a picture of a somewhat sad and limp burger – without dressing, salad, or any sign of love for food whatsoever. If nothing else, according to the writer, it rests on “a bed of frozen cheese”:
– Criminal
The reactions have not been long in coming after the angry – or possibly just starving – football supporter spoke up.
Most people take it all with a smile, but some have actually thrown themselves into the irritation:
– The cardboard box it came in looked more inviting than the contents. This is almost criminal!, says a like-minded fan.
The picture post has been seen by several million members, and thousands have taken to the comment section, something newspaper The Star have also caught on.
– The most startling thing here must be that the cheese is on the bottom, writes another fan under the post.
The sight made them recoil
Many believe that the burger will write itself into the history books as “the worst burger of all time”, and some believe that “the burger matches the quality of the football team that serves it”.
Doncaster Rovers have not commented on the incident. It is unclear whether they will continue to carry the much talked about burger, but if one thing is certain, it is that they have lost at least one customer.
