At the 2nd Advent concert “Ziemas miers” on December 4, as part of the winter Sunday concert series in the Little Guild, you will have the opportunity to hear an acoustic duet, which was formed through the close friendship of Kristīne Paže and Didž Bardo and many evenings spent together in music.
“Ziemas miers” acoustic concert program includes famous winter solstice songs and original music, the arrangements of which are made with Nordic restraint, allowing the listener to feel a warm and peaceful home through the music. The songs are sung as a couple, about being in a couple. About going through life together, both in the mountains of joy and in the valleys of hardship. Songs and words that will give each of us the opportunity to find peace and lightness of soul again in difficult time”, this is how the concert by Kristīne Paže and Didž Bardo announces itself.
It should be mentioned that Kristīne Pāže gained more attention in collaboration with rapper Ansi four years ago by releasing the super hit “Zemes shonda”, while a couple of years ago she made a brilliant mark by singing the song “Laime šia” together with Aija Andrejeva and Agnese Rakovska. On the other hand, Didzis Bardo is a well-known multi-instrumentalist, music producer who has participated in various music projects (most recently he was seen performing with Chris Noah). Kristīne and Didzis appear together on various stages as part of the group “Kautkaili”.
