The Diputación expands and improves the road to Alcuetas with 227,000 euros
The Provincial Council of León has invested 227,000 euros to expand and improve the access road to the town of Alcuetas, in the municipality of Villabraz, from the intersection with the LE-621, which has been severely damaged. The councilor for infrastructure, Luis Alberto Arias, accompanied by the mayor of the municipality, Ricardo Pellitero, and technicians from the provincial body and representatives of the winning company and the works management verified the outcome of these works which began last August.
The interventions undertaken in this one kilometer stretch consisted of widening the quay, which went from 4.50 meters wide to 6 meters of asphalt pavement with separate gravel side quays. The pavement was also renewed with two layers of hot bituminous conglomerate and the longitudinal and transversal drainage of the road. The work was completed with the renewal of horizontal and vertical signage.
The investment of the Provincial Council of León in the roads of the provincial network, the second largest after Lugo, is already approaching 32 million this year 2020, collects the provincial body in a statement.
