Amid the growing interest in horses among domestic gamers due to Uma Musume, a 2D horse breeding simulation game has appeared on Steam that interacts directly with and feeds horses. “Rising Star – The Horse Game (hereinafter Rising Star)” is the main character.

Rising Star is a game developed by Stinky Cat Game Studio, a foreign individual developer, and opened its Steam page on the 16th. This game is a horse management simulation game with sophisticated 2D pixel graphics and cute characters.

The player inherits the riding academy from his grandfather and runs it. Their basic duties range from maintaining stables to training horses. As this is a riding game, not horse racing, you will practice jumping over vertical obstacles, rabbit jumping obstacles and puddles of water. Each horse has a level and you need to level up evenly to be active in the game.

Various mini-games are prepared in the stable, such as giving the horses hay, filling the water bucket with water, slicing the horses’ favorite carrots and cleaning the stable. Characters and horses can be healed by filling them with accessories, and by upgrading the stables, you can automate processes such as feeding.

Rising Star will be released on Steam in December. At present, the availability of Korean language support has not been decided.
