In the summer of 2017 came the news that Hollywood stars Chris Pratt (43) and Anna Faris (45) were going divorced after eight years as husband and wife. Together they have a son Jack (9).
One and a half years later, however, Pratt cheered again when he revealed that he was going remarry.
Married in secret
Then he had peace and got yes from Katherine Schwarzenegger (32), who is daughter of action hero and former California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger (74).
In June 2019 the duo gave each other their yesand one year later they became parents together for the first time when little Lyla was born. Earlier this year, they also got second child, daughter Eloise.
A great burden
Now the “Avengers” star opens up about how hurt he was when people misunderstood an Instagram tribute, which he posted this fall, to his current wife.
Along with a picture of herself and Schwarzenegger, the actress wrote, among other things, “She has given me a wonderful life and a beautiful, healthy daughter. She chews so loud that I sometimes have to put in earplugs to drown out the sound, but it’s love.
Some thought that the comment about a “healthy daughter” was insensitive to his ex-wife. Their common son, Jack, was born two months premature and experienced a number of health challenges after the birth, writes People.
Defended by the stars after the storm
In an interview with Men’s Health Pratt now explains that he was extremely affected by all the criticism he received after his post.
– It resulted in a bunch of articles that said: “This is so cruel. I can not believe that Chris Pratt thanked her for a healthy daughter when his first child was born prematurely. It is a real stab at the ex-wife”, says he to the magazine and continues:
