Read back: The first day of the public hearings of the parliamentary inquiry into gas extraction

The interrogations started today at 10:00 am with Herman de Muinck, who lived above the Groningen gas bubble in Slochteren for 35 years. Sijbrand Nijhoff and Susan Top were also interrogated. In 2018, horse farmer Nijhoff from Zijldijk made public the secret agreement from 1963 in which the cooperation between the government and the oil companies is laid down. For many years, Top has worked for victims of gas extraction.
