Mönchengladbach/Krefeld/Kleve district/Viersen district/Wesel district/Rhein-Neuss district. At the 2022 district assembly in Mönchengladbach, the new board of the JU Niederrhein was elected under Frederik Paul. The Alpener follows Sven Ladeck.

His deputies are Tobias Delbeck from Mönchengladbach, Christina Herzog from the Viersen district, Cedric Röhrich from the Kleve district, Marc van Oirschot from Krefeld and Max von Borzestowski from the Rhein-Kreis Neuss. The team is completed by the assessors Lisa Drunkemühle, Philipp Hagenstein, Lisa Kärger, Alexander Lodes, Dominique Muller and Michael Störkmann.

In his application speech, Frederik Paul swears by the new team. “The Lower Rhine is different, but that is exactly our strength. Our task will be to emphasize what we have in common and to bring our region forward,” said the new chairman.

In addition to the members, there were also parliamentarians from the CDU, such as the Bundestag deputies Günter Krings and Dr. Martin Plum, as well as the state parliamentarians Guido Görtz, Jochen Klenner and Charlotte Quik. The Minister of Finance, Lutz Lienenkämper, was also there.

“We expect that at least one member of the Junge Union sits on every city and municipal council, as well as in every district council on the Lower Rhine,” Frederik Paul addressed the party leadership on the Lower Rhine.

The Junge Union is also the largest political youth organization on the Lower Rhine with around 3,000 members. It consists of adolescents and young adults between the ages of 14 and 35.
