Tottenham Hotspur judged to require the addition of new players. If not, Antonio Conte could leave the north London team.
In the continuation of the Premier League, Tottenham just fell from Chelsea. When competing at Stamford Bridge, The Lilywhites lost 0-2.
Hakim Ziyech and Thiago Silva scored Chelsea’s goals in the second half. Spurs had scored against Chelsea in the first half via Harry Keane. However, the goal was disallowed by the referee.
Looking at the current Spurs squad, Jamie Redknapp, judging that Conte requires an injection of new players. The Italiano had already said that Tottenham were far behind their rivals.
“Two need players. There has to be an agreement between him and Daniel Levy, they bring in the players he needs,” Redknapp told Sky Sports.
“He did an incredible job to be in that position. There is a huge gap between Manchester City, Liverpool and Chelsea, the rest you can see.”
“Tottenham are very close to breaking into the top four, no other manager can do that in this position. But he needs support to sign players.”
“If you don’t support him (Conte), look to his history with Inter Milan. I thought he would leave the club because you can’t promise and then make it happen.”
Tottenham are currently in seventh place in the Premier League standings with 36 points. Antonio Conte’s side have only played 20 times in the Premier League.
