Warhunt is a military thriller about World War II. The scenes of the film were shot in the Latvian Ethnographic Open-Air Museum, in the forests and caves of Līgatne, in Bolderāja and elsewhere.

Hollywood stars Mickey Rurk and Robert Kneper, as well as local actors Dainis Grūbe, Rihards Lepers, Jurijs Djakonovs and Ieva Segliņa, are participating in the film by director Mauro Borelli. The producers of the film are Igors Proins and Jūlija Zaiceva from the Latvian Producers’ Association Forma Pro Films.

One of the preconditions of the project was the involvement of local producers, which also determined why the film was shot in Latvia. The producers’ representatives emphasize that the funding model of the film and the attraction of the budget were decisive factors in making this idea a reality.
