Research
To refresh the memory before the start of the episode: last Saturday it was announced that broadcasts of The Voice will be suspended for the time being after accusations of sexually transgressive behavior and abuse of power.
RTL received an email with questions from BOOS and information about the broadcast and found those accusations ‘serious and shocking’. On Monday, his partner Linda de Mol announced that she had broken off her relationship with Rietbergen and will stop working for the time being.
“I’ve been in a terrible nightmare for a few days now,” she wrote in a statement on the website of her magazine LINDA. “So many things have come up that I didn’t know about and because they’re anonymous I don’t know what’s true and what isn’t.”

Collaboration stopped
The second came in on Tuesday: it is still unknown who submitted it, but it would not relate to his work at The Voice. After the first report, RTL decided to end the collaboration with the rapper as long as the investigation is ongoing. RTL and ITV call on victims to come forward.
Ali B. previously said he did not recognize himself in the allegations. “Ali has never abused his position and has never acted sexually transgressive,” his management said.

Contract with a duty of confidentiality
Reports this morning de Volkskrant however, participants in the program must sign contracts that include a duty of confidentiality. Letter De Mol to employees of Talpa: ‘The door is always open’
