Israel Fernández was born into a gypsy family settled in Corral de Almaguer, but of Andalusian origins. It is there, in its environment, where flamenco begins to live in a natural way. His mother and grandmother are the ones who ignite the flame of his deep interest. Camarón was his great idol and reference, although he has also been influenced by others such as Manolo Caracol.
He soon became a child prodigy and began to attend television competitions, until he recorded his first album at the age of 18. From then on it is when he brings out his true “self”, leaving aside the external influences of being a child.
