Warns against slippery roads in several places in the country – NRK Norway – Overview of news from different parts of the country

Rain, snow and cold create difficult driving conditions in several places night to Thursday.

Between minus 12 and minus 16 degrees in the air means that the rain that falls over the Inland and north of Viken freezes on the ground until Thursday night, Vegtrafikksentralen Øst tweets.

It is also raining in the south of Østfold.

Two cars are involved in a traffic accident on the E6 at Skjeberg.

– A person was transported by ambulance to Kalnes hospital. Uncertain degree of damage to those involved. E6 is still blocked, reports the Police in the East.

Also at E6 in Ingedal in Sarpsborg there has been a traffic accident between two cars on Thursday morning.

– It’s freezing rain, tweets Vegtrafikksentralen Øst.

It will snow over Oslo and parts of Viken until Thursday night.

The Road Traffic Control Center asks motorists who have to drive to be careful.

– We encourage motorists to drive very carefully, says traffic operator Ole Fredrik Haugen at Vegtrafikksentralen Øst to NRK.

He adds that it is too cold to scatter in several places.

Smooth in Agder

Smooth roads are also reported in Agder.

A car has run off the road on the E18 at Arendal. The driver of the car must be unharmed.

– It’s slippery on the spot, tweets the police in Agder.
