Shot at a Ukrainian woman with a personal weapon
The tragedy happened on December 15 in a small town Torre-Annunciata (southern suburb of Naples). Former math teacher at the local lyceum, now pensioner Pellegrino Reibaldi shot at Ukrainian woman from personal registered weapon… Maria died on the spot even before the arrival of the police and doctors.
When law enforcement officers took the former teacher out of the house and put him in a car, a woman’s hysterical cry came from the window of his apartment: “I will never forgive you!” Apparently, it was just his elderly sister, who was now left without a nurse.

An acquaintance of Maria said that the woman long had a bad relationship with Pellegrino… The man had a bad temper, he often quarreled with the Ukrainian woman for any reason, sometimes even beat her.
“Neighbors often heard fights in this apartment.… They even sometimes knocked on doors to calm the old man down and help Maria. He made scandals over various little things. Yes, and often fought with neighbors, “- says another woman who knew the nurse.
In the police, the Italian said that he was unhappy with how Maria was caring for his sister, and also believed that she was allegedly taking money from him.

Maria has lived in Italy for many years, and before that she looked after other elderly people. She has two daughters leftwho also moved to live on the Apennine Peninsula. Sometimes they came to neighboring Pompeii to the church where the Ukrainian diaspora gathered.
Everyone who knew Maria speaks of her as a good and decent woman.

Pellegrino Reibaldi has a brother, a professor. They are well known in the city. They say that the 81-year-old pensioner could not please any of the nurses who worked before Maria. The man was unhappy with everyone, and regularly made scandals, sometimes even with assault. Therefore, many female workers could not stand such an attitude and left this family.
Now Pellegrino was detained, after the trial he will be imprisoned.
