HOSI-Salzburg: For a fear-free work, educational and family environment for queer people
Salzburg (OTS) – October 11th is Internationaler Coming Out Day. A special day for people from the LGBTIQ * community, i.e. homosexuals, bisexuals, trans * and inter * people. Those who have already come out will always remember their first coming out moment. And those who still have to deal with it are mostly with mixed feelings about theirs own “Coming Out Day”. Coming out is often experienced as a liberation. There is no need to hide and your own identity, experiences and desires can be shared with others.
The Coming Out Day should encourage you to take this step and stand by yourself.
“Above all, a fear-free workplace and an environment that accepts you should now be a matter of course. And yet people from the LGBTIQ * community are still exposed to discrimination and hatred, ”says Josef Lindner Jr., chairman of HOSI Salzburg.
With its educational programs: “Diversity at work” and “School of Diversity”, HOSI helps to break down prejudices. In this way, a fear-free work, education and family environment can be created.
The wide range of advice and information offered by HOSI Salzburg is aimed at LGBTIQ * people, their relatives as well as schools and companies.
