A magnitude 4.8 earthquake shook southeastern Romania at 9:36 p.m. on Friday, the Euro-Mediterranean Seismological Center said.
According to him, the epicenter of the quake was located 79 km northwest of the city of Buzau with a population of about 130,000 people. The quake was at a depth of 80 km.
No casualties or damage were reported.
