The first modern SUV of the Mladá Boleslav carmaker will soon have a facelift. The planned changes are revealed by a fresh trailer.

Up to seven digits SUV Kodiaq it debuted in 2016 and now – almost five years after its premiere – the ideal time has come to modernize it. The debut will take place online on April 13, but even before the celebration itself, the carmaker attracts us with a short spot that shows some innovated details.

Of course, Škoda keeps the best for the premiere, but we still learn at least a few interesting things. Kodiaq is said to get a redesigned and more pronounced bow with a more upright hexagonal radiator grille, which in our opinion should be more similar to the electric Enyaqu.

The headlights are narrower than before and together with a separate LED module located below them form a new “four-eye” lighting graphic. The rear lamps with crystalline structures are also narrower, of course with the traditional C-shape.

The video captures a few other details, but they do not reveal any big surprises. We have to wait for all the details until the official premiere. Skoda reminds us of the importance of Kodiaq, which launched the brand’s SUV offensive five years ago and has so far rolled off more than 600,000 units of this car, which is sold in about 60 markets around the world.
