After an overdose of unspecified drugs, rapper DMX has had a heart attack, reports TMZ Saturday. The rapper is in the hospital and his prognosis is said to be bad.
The overdose is said to have taken place in New York local time on Friday evening. DMX was then rushed to a hospital in White Plains, where he was admitted to the intensive care unit.
In recent years, DMX, whose real name is Earl Simmons, has had a drug addiction. The fifty-year-old rapper visited rehab several times but also returned to narcotics several times.
