White’powder snow’ fell all over the interior, including the metropolitan area.
It is said that a cold wave comes when powder snow falls, but this morning in Seoul, the temperature drops to -10 degrees below zero.

The streets quickly turned white, as if a carpet was laid.
Seoul stopped after about 1cm of snow fell, but a lot of snow of about 10cm fell in southern Gyeonggi and Chungcheong areas, and a heavy snow warning was issued.
This powdery snow heralds a strong cold wave after snow stops.
This is because it is created when strong cold comes into the upper layer in low humidity conditions.

This morning, the temperature of Cheorwon -13 degrees, Paju -12 degrees, Seoul -10 degrees, Busan -4 degrees, except for Jeju Island, will stay below zero.
In particular, the perceived temperature is near -20 degrees below zero, and it is expected to be cold as if it has returned to midwinter.
Therefore, there is a concern that the risk of slipping accidents caused by thin ice on the road will increase in the vicinity of tunnels, roads on the back road, and coastal highways.
In the midst of the cold wave, more heavy snowfalls of up to 20 cm or more will pour over the west coast of Honam, the mountains of Jeju Island, and Ulleungdo and Dokdo.
