An accident occurred at 2:35 p.m. Wednesday at the Porrentruy (JU) Thermoréseau plant. While an employee of the Entreprise du Gaz was carrying out maintenance work on a boiler, he was splashed with water at 90 degrees.
Burned in the 2nd degree on 70% of the body, the worker was taken care of by Rega, who helicoptered him to Zurich, the cantonal cantonal police said in a press release.
An investigation to determine the causes of this serious accident has been opened.
