Health Canada recently updated a number of its guides on the use of flame retardant chemicals for several categories of products subject to the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act (CCPSA). These updates affect a wide range of products sold in Canada, including clothing, furniture, rugs and toys.
The CCCD recommends that retailers consult these guides to ensure that the products they sell comply with applicable regulations.
