More than 24 hours after the tragedy which claimed the life of Yohann Essirard, this 36-year-old man volunteered on the lawn of the Moustoir stadium this Sunday evening, and who was fatally affected by the fall of a ramp from light therapy, the Sportingsols company has come out of its silence. Nourdine Boubaya, the brother of Yohann Essirard (and Tristan Boubaya, midfielder with the Thoniers de Concarneau), is an employee of this company, and it is by giving him a hand, at the end of the Lorient match. Rennes this Sunday, that Yohann was fatally injured.
The investigation continues
Reached several times by phone during the day on Monday, the Sportingsols company, which is responsible for maintaining the lawn at the Stade du Moustoir, ended up publish a short and sober press release, on its website: “The employees and management of Sportingsols Entretien were deeply affected by the death of Yohann Essirard, a relative of one of our employees. It seems that he lent him a hand to move a light therapy ramp, after Sunday night’s match between Lorient and Rennes. We extend our sincere condolences to his family and loved ones. The circumstances which led to the accident will have to be determined by the investigation. “
The investigation which is continuing in the departmental security of Morbihan: it will above all endeavor to shed light on the responsibilities which allowed the presence of a volunteer worker on a particular piece of equipment. The circumstances, they seem to this day dramatically clear.
