It has been reported that a fake message of a € 500 bonus is running on WhatsApp. The police have raised the alarm as it is a scam

Here comes yet another attack on WhatsApp by some hacker to scam unfortunate users. Apparently, in the last few hours, a fake message has been circulating about a bonus to be awarded. But be careful because it is a real one fraud.

The fake message was discovered by the same Police post who is sounding the alarm not to fall into the trap. The content of the fraudulent sms speaks in fact of the disbursement of the € 500 family bonus. Therefore, if such a message arrives, be wary is the solution as it is not anything official but a fake.

Specifically, the sender of the message itself is Poste Italiane, which is why it can come naturally to open and read it. The content of said sms speaks of a distribution of bonus, in fact, of 500 € only by answering three questions and verifying your name in a dedicated list, obviously false. Finally, it is explicitly requested to send the same message to 30 other contacts.

It is not easy to cope with such messages as the traps devised by cybercriminals are very clever and well researched. Especially in such a period, using these arguments for an online scam is much more effective, given the great difficulty some people find themselves in. The Postal Police itself recommends be wary of messages with particular contents or that invite you to click on links to internet pages. To check information, you must manually type the site mentioned in the search bar. If, on the other hand, you have fallen into a trap, you must immediately go to the competent forces to report everything.
