The break for national team commitments has given new inspiration to Juventus from a market point of view. The bianconeri, who did not start the season as they hoped but remain in the upper floors of the A league and in full swing for qualifying for the round of 16 Champions League, they want to rejuvenate the squad with two quality midfielders who stood out during the break: Manuel Locatelli e Nicolò Rovella.
To confirm the interest of the Juventus club for the midfielder of Sassuolo and of National by Roberto Mancini and for the Genoa player e Under 21 is ‘Tuttosport’, which specifies as the announced goodbye of Sami khedira and the poised position of Aaron Ramsey (stopped very often by physical problems) convinced the management to focus strongly on the two young blue talents.
Locatelli, which with the shirt of Sassuolo was able to relaunch after the ‘rejection’ of the Milan, conquering the blue jersey thanks to increasingly convincing performances, is the main objective. The 22-year-old himself has stated several times that he dreams of the stage of the Champions League. Without mentioning Juventus, the words of the native of Lecco are still an important clue because among the top club so far only the bianconeri have shown any concrete interest.
However, the approach that could lead to is different Rovella. 19 years next December 4th, under contract with the Genoa, compared to Locatelli represents a more ‘future-oriented’ operation and its purchase could foresee a subsequent one loan to the rossoblù themselves, with whom Juventus enjoys excellent relations in management terms.
As for the timing of the negotiations, the idea is to attempt the assault on Locatelli and Rovella already in January, to strengthen the Juventus midfield in view of the second part of the season: for the first, the doubt is linked to the economic consideration (it takes at least 30 million euros), for the second there is instead to beat the competition ofInter, which without placing any offers has begun to test the waters.
