US elections. Recounting votes? “There are reports of irregularities”

President Donald Trump’s electoral staff said it would “immediately demand” a recount of Wisconsin votes in the presidential election, although the counting of votes in this key state has yet to be completed.

There have been reports of irregularities in several Wisconsin counties raising serious doubts as to the reliability of the results. Bill Stepien, Trump’s chief of election team, wrote in a statement.

According to Edison Resarch, the difference between Trump and his Democratic rival Joe Biden in Wisconsin is less than 1 percentage pointwhich, according to the rules in force in this state, allows a candidate to apply for a vote count.

Edison Research said that after converting 99 percent of the vote, Biden won 49.4 percent. and Trump 48.8 percent.

This is not the only reaction of Donald Trump to the falling off result. His staff has filed lawsuits in the states of Pennsylvania and Michigan to suspend the counting of votes there in presidential elections, demanding better access for their observers to places where votes were counted.

The staff also wants to intervene in the case of Pennsylvania in the Supreme Court, because it wants to settle the issue of whether the counting can include ballots received up to three days after the election – explained the deputy head of the Trump election campaign Justin Clark.

The Republican Staff is calling for a temporary halt to the counting of votes in both states until it has “meaningful” access to the places where they were counted, and until it can see the ballots that have already been opened and counted.

The current president loses Joe Biden for Democrat candidate. In Michigan, he is slightly losing to Biden, and in the state of Pennsylvania, he is leading, but his advantage is slowly waning with the count of votes sent by mail.

Donald Trump has questioned the honesty in counting votes on Twitter. “Yesterday evening I was leading, often significantly, in many key states, in almost all Democratic controlled and controlled cases. Then, one by one, (these advantages) began to magically disappear as unexpected votes were counted,” Trump wrote on Twitter.

“This is very strange and the ‘interviewers’ have been completely and historically wrong!” – added.

Twitter marked the content of his entry as likely to “be controversial or misleading about voting or other citizenship procedures.”
