9-year-old Ezra Blount’s parents are suing Travis Scott and the other Astroworld organizers. The boy is in a coma after he was trampled during the festival on Friday.

In the indictment, in the hands of New York Post, tells the family that Ezra has suffered brain damage and also has problems with his lungs, liver and kidneys.

The boy was on the festival with his father Treston, who previously described what happened to them that night on the site of an online family fundraiser. “I had my son on my shoulders, we were waiting for Drake to perform. Suddenly I was jostled. I couldn’t breathe anymore and passed out. When I came to, I had lost my son.’

In the new court papers, the family states that at that time Ezra was already ‘nearly kicked to death by other concertgoers’. They accuse organizers Live Nation and ScoreMore, event venue NRG Park, Travis Scott and his record label Cactus Jack of having ‘greatly neglected’ their duty to ensure the safety of visitors.

Scott only heard about it at the afterparty
Travis Scott only heard at an afterparty of the festival that there had been deaths, reports the usually well-entered TMZ. He was at the party with Drake, a surprise act during Scott’s performance, who had closed the festival. Earlier, both rappers announced that they had not seen or noticed from the stage that things were getting out of hand on the festival site. For reasons that are still unclear, there was a rush, in which eight people were killed. Another 25 people were injured.

An insider tells TMZ that no one from the festival or the authorities had informed Scott of the drama. That’s why after his performance he just left for a restaurant, where Drake had organized an after party for him. The rapper, whose real name is Jacques Webster, and colleague Drake were informed at the party, according to the source, and left immediately.
