9 Months Pregnant Woman Escaped from Hot Clouds of Semeru, Runs Dozens of Kilos, No Longer Cares about Stomach Pain

TRIBUNNEWS.COM – The eruption of Mount Semeru accompanied by avalanches hot clouds surprised the residents around the slopes.

As a result of the incident, dozens of people died. Not a few were injured.

Residents had no idea that last Saturday (4/12/2021), Mount Semeru experienced a violent eruption that devastated the surrounding area.

Ayuningsih (23) who is heavily pregnant had to run dozens of kilometers to save herself from the hot clouds from Mount Semeru on Saturday (4/12/2021).

Ayu is one of the residents affected by the eruption Semeru Mountain from Lumajang, East Java.

With the condition of her enlarged stomach because she was 9 months pregnant, Ayu fought hard to survive the eruption Semeru Mountain.

Supported by her husband, Ayu also managed to save herself.

Ayu is a resident of Curah Kobokan Hamlet, Pronojiwo, Lumajang.

Pronojiwo is one area that was almost entirely affected by the Semeru eruption.

Ayu told that because of her panic, Ayu saved herself by running while being supported by her husband Mohamad Nur Efendy (23).
