In the province of Groningen, 81 new corona infections were reported in the past 24 hours. This is evident from the figures from the National Institute for Public Health and the Environment (RIVM) Friday afternoon.
In the municipality of Groningen, 30 people were tested positive. In the other municipalities, infections were found in Stadskanaal (13), Westerkwartier (10), Stadskanaal (10), Westerwolde (8), Het Hogeland (7), Veendam and Midden-Groningen (3), Delfzijl, Oldambt and Pekela (2). ), Loppersum (1).
In the province of Groningen, one death was reported from the municipality of Oldambt. Two people were also admitted to the hospital, from the municipality of Het Hogeland and Westerkwartier.
