During the second day of the 77th Annual Meeting of the Mexican Society of Public Health AC, the Secretary of Health of Mexico City (SEDESA), Dr. Oliva López Arellano, presented the presentation “Challenges for the Reconfiguration of the Health System in Mexico ”, where he stressed that quality medical services are closer to citizens in the country’s capital.

As part of this transformation, the “Health in your Life, Health for Wellbeing” program stood out, which has a preventive vision and focuses on direct interventions in communities through various activities, in which people are involved in take health into their hands with disease detection, care and follow-up with quality health services, free and close to their homes.
This event of the Mexican Society of Public Health promotes continuous and cutting-edge training in academic and scientific topics that interest professionals and personnel in training in the health area; becoming one of the most important forums with the greatest tradition for more than 75 years.
During the Annual Meeting, the “Medal of Health Merit” will be presented, a special distinction awarded by the Mexican Society of Public Health to outstanding professionals for their great career and contributions in the field of public health and the motto of the meeting is “Building together new horizons in primary health care.”
