BEIJING, Feb.8 (Xinhua) – A total of 72 COVID-19 patients were discharged from hospitals on Sunday after their recovery on the Chinese mainland, the National Health Commission said in a daily report on Monday.
Some 1,118 confirmed cases remained hospitalized, including 20 in serious condition, according to the report.
According to Sunday’s toll, mainland China reported a total of 89,706 confirmed cases of COVID-19, of which 83,952 were discharged from hospital after recovery and 4,636 died of the disease.
