It was a dramatic end to Sunday’s episode of «71 degrees north – Norway’s toughest celebrity» when Agnete Huseby (25) was hyperventilated by pain.

Completely out of the blue for the other participants, Huseby bursts into tears and has to take a break. She stays on her left shoulder, and describes great pain she can not describe. She helps her teammates with the backpack, before it all escalates.

Sitting on the ground, Huseby longs for breath, but before anything happens next, the scrolling text appears on the screen for the TV viewers.

Huseby can reveal to Nettavisen that the pain did not go away, and that production eventually had to intervene. She says that she was picked up on a snowmobile and taken to the emergency room.

It remains to be seen how Huseby’s participation in the competition will continue.

Press contact in Discovery, Marianne Aambø, can, however, say that Huseby was well taken care of by the production.

– Agnete got great pain in the shoulder during the ski leg. We have a doctor on all trips and she was examined carefully and taken good care of. Then the next episode will show how it went, says Aambø to Nettavisen.

“71 degrees north – Norway’s toughest celebrity” is broadcast on TVNorge on Sundays at 20:30 and on the streaming service Discovery +.
