TEGAL, KOMPAS.com – At least 6,990 health workers (health workers) in Tegal Regency, Central Java, will be given a vaccine injection Covid-19.
Head of District Health Office Tegal Dr. Hendadi said, the vaccine that will be injected to health workers is Sinovac from China.
“This figure can increase. However, we have deposited the data on 6,990 health workers to the Ministry of Health to receive vaccines, “said dr. Hendadi Setiadji, Monday (4/1/2021).
Hendadi added that the injection of the vaccine itself will be planned for January 22, 2021.
“We are still waiting for the Ministry of Health’s instructions, but the temporary information we receive will begin on January 22, 2021. For certainty, we are still waiting for orders,” he explained.

Hendadi said that currently the vaccine is already in the Central Java Provincial Health Office.
“When there are instructions to be taken, we are ready. Later the vaccine will be stored in a special cooler at the DHO pharmaceutical warehouse,” he said.
According to him, apart from the priority for health workers at 29 health centers, 9 hospitals and 40 health clinics, the first phase of vaccination is also intended for those who work in health facilities such as nutrition workers, cleaners and night guards.
His party has even prepared a special officer who will do the injection the Covid-19 vaccine.
“Vaccines will be given twice in a span of two weeks. Before being vaccinated, prospective vaccine recipients must first check their health conditions and must meet the requirements, “Hendadi.
Hendadi added that his party will continue to vaccinate officers in the public service line and the general public.
“Such as 18 to 59 years old, not pregnant, not having severe allergies, no history of neurological disorders, no serious disease disorders including diabetes, kidney, liver and heart,” he continued.
