The release of The Last Dance only reignited the eternal debate about the best player of all time, surely winning MJ a couple of votes in the process. Stephen Jackson, now a consultant, highlighted the invincibility of Michael Jordan to justify its choice to place it at the top of the ranking.
“Very few people can use the word ‘undefeated’ when it comes to title games. Very few athletes in the world in any sport can tell. Floyd [Mayweather], Michael Jordan, who else? Rocky Marciano? To be undefeated means something, 99% of people who have played sports cannot say it. 6 wins – 0 loss man, too bad for Kobe, too bad for LeBron. LeBron James is the most complete player, but he hasn’t overtaken Kobe and Jordan. ” Stephen jackson
“Bron is the best all-around player we’ve ever seen, but he hasn’t passed Kobe or Jordan.”
