51st International Comics Festival: Official Competition Albums and Posters Unveiled – Selections and Prizes Revealed

84 comic book albums were selected, divided into several selections.

The organization of the 51st International Comics Festival which will be held from January 25 to 28, 2024 has unveiled the three posters for the next edition, signed: Riad Sattouf, Hiroaki Samura and Nine Antico.

The organizers also announced the albums making up the Official Competition. Designated by three committees of comics specialists, 84 albums and publications were selected. They were published in French, regardless of the country of origin, and distributed in French-speaking bookstores between December 1, 2022 and November 30, 2023.
They are divided into several selections which form the Official Competition: the Official Selection; the Youth Selection; the Heritage Selection; the RAJA Eco-Fauve Selection; the Fauve Polar SNCF Voyageurs Selection.
Twelve prizes, called the Fauves d’Angoulême, are then awarded by different juries including the Fauve d’or – prize for best album.
