51.8% of Experts Dissatisfied with Anies-Riza’s Performance

Centre for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) reveal the perception of experts regarding the performance of the Governor of DKI Jakarta Anies Baswedan and the Deputy Governor of DKI Ahmad Riza Patria. The majority of experts expressed dissatisfaction with Anies-Riza’s performance.

This survey was conducted on March 29-12 April 2022. The number of samples is 170 people consisting of researchers, academics, journalists, bureaucrats, and politicians.

Data was collected by means of face-to-face interviews with 110 people, and the remaining 60 people were conducted virtually. Quality control is carried out starting from enumerator recruitment, training implementation, data collection to data validation and verification.

Head of the Department of Politics and Social Change at CSIS Arya Fernandes said that his party questioned the level of satisfaction of respondents regarding the performance of the DKI Provincial Government under Anies-Riza. The result was 51.8% said they were not satisfied and 47.6% said they were satisfied.

“Experts are divided in assessing the performance of the DKI Jakarta administration, 47.6% said they were satisfied, and 51.8% said they were not satisfied,” said Arya in his statement, Monday (6/6/2022).

Arya then explained the performance of the DKI Provincial Government in 8 fields. The majority of experts are dissatisfied with the bureaucracy, employment opportunities, environmental quality of air and clean water, to decent housing.

However, the level of satisfaction is quite high for the other 4 areas. Among them are related to wages, transportation, prices of basic needs, and social harmonization.
