50 in quarantine after infection in the environment around the mosque in Klepp

Around 50 people are in quarantine and are being tested. The municipal chief has reintroduced the waiting quarantine for their close contacts, as a precautionary measure.

It appears in a press release from Klepp municipality.

Everyone involved has received information directly. There is no reason to believe that others outside the environment are close contacts. The mosque is closed until further notice.

– Vo has a good dialogue with the environment, and has an overview of the situation, says municipal chief physician Roman Benz.

There are also a couple of other cases of infection associated with Klepp now that have other routes of infection. These cases of infection have each led to, among other things, some school classes being placed in waiting quarantine.

The waiting quarantine is a measure that is becoming increasingly common. Those who are in the waiting quarantine are close contacts to a person who in turn is close contact to an infected person. The waiting quarantine lasts until your close contact has tested itself and received a negative result.
