Season 2 is in Fortnite finally started and brought some changes with it. Our author Eilyn Rapp had a few demands for the new season. She is already excited and that is why she is there.
Season 2 started on Thursday, February 20. Even though the season started just a few days ago, I’m excited about the changes it has brought.
Reasons why Season 2 thrills me
Various aspects are required for a season to be good in Fortnite. I had put together a wish list on which I collected my claims for the new season.
That was mine 5 things to change in Fortnite Season 2, Unfortunately, not all of the wishes have been fulfilled, but Epic has made changes that I didn’t even know I needed.
1. Reason: Some map changes
Something I wanted was map changes. With the start of Season 2, this was achieved because we received several new locations.

New places are always exciting because you can explore them extensively. These places are particularly suitable for action fans, because many opponents end up there at the beginning.
Especially the new agency, which is in the middle of the map, seems to have become the new Tilted Towers. Whoever lands there will get a lot of action.
Reason 2: New agent features are really cool
Season 2 also introduced new “agent features. The new eavesdropping system, where you can eavesdrop on opponents and then find out where your team members are, is pretty helpful in combat.
The “side missions”, in which you have to fight mini-bosses, listen to henchmen and scan, are very varied. The music gives it a special feeling and you feel like a real agent.
When you finish the mini boss, you get one Key card that can be used to open a safein which there is high quality loot.

If you want to confuse your opponents, you can new bait grenades use. The doppelgangers do no harm, but they can cause confusion.
In addition, the whole thing looks pretty funny when suddenly 4 identical skins run in the same direction and just destroy confused things.
Reason 3: There is another story
One reason why I like Fortnite so much is the stories told in the background with loading screens, map changes and even events.
We last had that in Season X when Story of the visitor was passed on. This story started at the end of Season 3 and “ended” with Season X.
So far, I had been missing this in the new chapter. Season 1 Chapter 2 had hardly any story and you had to puzzle for a long time before you could come up with a theory yourself.

With the start of Season 2 that seems to change. The Season 2 trailer is about agents and villains,
Players even have to choose one side: Ghost or Shadow? Will there be a struggle between the alliances?
4. Reason: Gameplay is getting more exciting again
At the start of the new chapter in Fortnite 28 items and weapons removed, This threw Fortnite back in the early stages and left players with the Basic Fortnite.
At the beginning it was completely fine and you could indulge in nostalgia. But with time it got boring, because:
- You always had the same weapons and items
- Was always killed the same way
- The game had the same sequence in every match
With Season 2, some items and weapons have returned, The game is getting messier, but it is such a nice change to face different battles.
Develop new tactics, try different weapons and items and plan counter-attacks. These things make the game so much more interesting for me.
5. Reason: The Battle Pass is great
One of the biggest motivations for a new season for me is the Battle Pass. If I like the pass, I’m motivated to do challenges and play a lot.

I want to unlock my favorite skins from the Battle Pass. I particularly like the skins this season. I especially liked 2 skins.
Unfortunately, I will only be able to unlock my favorites at level 80, but that’s a good thing because I will have a long motivation to upgrade myself.
