5 new people infected with coronavirus in Charente-Maritime this weekend. The origin of their contamination is known. There is a couple linked to an identified case in Occitania and three people who attended an already known infected patient of the Regional Health Agency. The ARS which does not specify the state of health of these five patients or if they had to be hospitalized.
In all, 13 new cases of Coronavirus Covid-19 were confirmed this weekend in Nouvelle-Aquitaine. Five in Charente-Maritime therefore but also five in Lot-et-Garonne, one in Vienne, one in Corrèze and one in Gironde. Cases identified thanks to the medical follow-up provided by the Regional Health Agency with relatives of already known cases.
This brings the number of confirmed cases in the region to 29. “There has been a sharp increase in the number of confirmed cases in the past 24 hours.” says the ARS.
