1. North Sentinel Island, India

Niihau Island is considered the seventh largest island in Hawaii and is known as the “Forbidden Island”.

Niihau Island is not a place that just anyone can visit. This is because the island is owned by individuals, namely Keith and Bruce Robinson.

The Robinson family is committed to the promise they made to the former Hawaiian king to protect the island’s proud Hawaiian heritage.

There are several possibilities to be able to visit the island if you are invited directly by the Robinson family or get a special invitation from a permanent resident of Niihau.
