What does the Philips OLED754 offer?
The Philips OLED754 naturally delivers the deep black and the excellent contrast that you generally get with OLEDs. The panel is on par with OLED TVs from other manufacturers because, like these, it is supplied by LG. In addition, Philips has built in its Ambilight feature, in which the wall behind the television is illuminated in the colors of the picture in order to make the screen appear even larger and to create a suitable atmosphere in the room.
In terms of peak brightness, the Philips OLED754 cuts with around 600 to 700 cd / m2 slightly worse than the popular, but significantly more expensive LG OLED C9, but is slightly superior to the LG OLED B9. The model from Philips has to admit defeat in the input lag, which at 32.8 ms at 60 Hz is significantly higher than in comparable models from LG or Samsung. At 120 Hz the value drops considerably. HDMI 2.1 is not supported.
