President Donald Trump continues to have leadership within the Republican Party. According to a poll by The New York Times and Siena College, 49% of Republicans want the former president to be a candidate in the next election. However, support for the former president is not complete, almost 50% of the party wants to see another candidate in the elections, including Ron DeSantis, Ted Cruz, Mike Pence, Nikki Haley and Mike Pompeo.
