Also, between March 19 and March 25, an average of 28.3 people died every day from the effects of covid-19. That is 17.9 percent more than a week earlier. There does not seem to be any real slowdown in the rise in the mortality rate for the time being.

Between March 22 and March 28, an average of 241.1 people were hospitalized every day, or 22 percent more than a week earlier. There are currently 2,691 people in hospital, 711 of whom are in intensive care – 10 more than yesterday.

1,229,384 people in our country have also received at least one dose of a corona vaccine. That accounts for 10.7 percent of the total population. About half a million of them have already received a second dose. 4.4 percent of the Belgian population was therefore fully vaccinated.
