New rules come into force that will affect many employees. For some of them, their salary will increase by PLN 400 per month. What other changes does the Act introduce?

PLN 400 for employees. Who will get?
Mainly social workers can count on exceptional support. They will receive 10 days of additional holiday leave after working for three years. Now she gains this right after five. In addition, according to “Dziennik Gazeta Prawna”, social workers will receive a higher allowance for field work. It increases from PLN 250 to PLN 400 per month.

New recipes will apply from Sunday 30 May. An important provision in the act is the one stating that the field work allowance cannot be included in the lowest remuneration for work and will be due to all employees who conduct environmental interviews or provide social work outside the social welfare center.

Moreover, social workers have been given a statutorily defined career path, which will be uniform throughout the country, and the law also grants them the right to regular training (at least once every two years).
The Act also introduces a special procedure for granting emergency care services, e.g. in the event of a sudden deterioration in health. As Urszula Kućma, deputy director of MOPS in Jasło, explains in an interview with the daily, the new regulations will allow an elderly or disabled person to be supported immediately after conducting a family community interview.
On the other hand, the act tightens the financial penalties for running an illegal private 24-hour care home. The voivode will be able to impose sanctions on their owners in the amount of PLN 10, 20 or 30 thousand. PLN – depending on the number of inhabitants. From 40 to 60 thousand PLN, while the penalty for the entity that continues to run such an outlet without a permit or has opened another one.
