September 13, 2022 10:01 pm

A fallen cable would have hit the wagon of a convoy bound for Lodi, passing from the Rogoredo station to San Donato Milanese. Mount the rage of commuters on social networks

According to an official reconstruction, just before 6.30 pm, Trenord Saronno-Lodi convoy 24161 was blocked just after the quay due to a technical problem with the power line in the Rogoredo station. The trains in transit were made to pass on the other tracks of the Milanese railway yard, with delays of up to an hour for some trains.

And in the Facebook groups of Trenord users for several hours, messages of requests for information and help have been chasing each other, between those who were locked on board the train blocked by the fallen cable, without air conditioning and electricity and without official news on the matter, and who he was unable to go home after a day’s work at the station. In the meantime, minutes of delay accumulated on the scoreboards. Numerous photos and videos were disseminated by passengers online to report the uneasy situation.

Meanwhile, RFI technicians are intervening to resolve the fault. Trenord reports cancellations and changes on the suburban lines of the S1 and S13 lines for Pavia and Lodi.
