40 years later, the underside of an attack in Brussels: a former State Security agent unpacked


A former state security officer sits at the table and unpacks.

When he published his memories, former State Security officer (now retired) Gérald Damseaux could not count on a classic publishing house. He contacted the Society of Writers in Paris to publish his “Are you interested in the dark years?” whose reading leaves you speechless. Editors have to bite their fingers. The book is almost sold out. The last copies are snapped up at gold prices.

Normal, for who reads these 629 pages which are teeming with “revelations” on the underside of the cards, in any case of assertions which to our knowledge, have not been denied.

In the years that have passed, Gérald Damseaux recalls this strange attack perpetrated in Uccle by the Ira, the Irish republican army which, being the wrong target, shot down a director of the National Bank.

This is a file on which Damseaux has personally worked. Which authorizes him to deliver his testimony.
