On paper, the Huawei P20 Pro could also boast one of the largest matrices in modern smartphones. It is true that 1 / 1.7 ″ was not a record at the time, but it is worth realizing that such a sensor was 170% larger than that of the iPhone X.

In addition to the 40MP main unit with OIS, the Huawei P20 Pro offered an additional 20MP monochrome camera and 8 megapixel telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom.
Furthermore, by downloading additional data from the main unit, the P20 Pro was able to take photos 5x hybrid approximation. In 2018 it was a real magic. Well, even now many flagships do not offer such a good solution in this regard.
An added bonus was the ability to hit a record for ISO smartphone at the level of 102,400. Thanks to this, the Huawei P20 Pro has almost become a night vision device, seeing in the dark more than any other phone on the market.
