I am 3,212 new cases of coronavirus in Italy (yesterday they were 2,985, here the bulletin). It goes up like this at least 4.668.261 the number of people who have contracted the SARS-CoV-2 virus (including recovered and died) since the outbreak began. THE deaths today I’m 63 (yesterday there were 65), counting 12 previous deaths (7 in Campania and 5 in Sicily *), for a total of 130,870 victims from February 2020. People recovered or discharged they are altogether 4.441.412 e 6.042 those that came out of the Covid nightmare today (yesterday 5.105). The positive current – the subjects who have the virus – turn out to be in everything 95.979, equal to -2.893 compared to yesterday (-2.208 the day before).

The swabs and the scenario
I total swabs (molecular and antigenic) were 295.452, or 42,973 less than yesterday when it was 338,425. While the rate of positivity
all’1,1% (the approximation of 1.087%); yesterday it was 0.9%. who the map of the contagion in Italy.

More infections in 24 hours than yesterday. this is the normal fluctuating trend of the curve which reaches its highest points in the middle of the week and then falls from the weekend until Monday. The trend is always in slow descent and is shown by the comparison with it last Wednesday (September 22) – the same day of the week – when they were recorded +3,970 almost with a positive rate of 1.3%: today in fact there are fewer new infections than that day, with a lower percentage (1.1% versus 1.3%). Globally, the data continues to improve, according to the WHO in the last week (20-26 September) new cases and deaths marked a -10%, equal to 3.3 million new infections and over 55 thousand victims. In Europe, the decrease was smaller (-1%) with numbers practically similar to those of last week.

The Lombardy has the highest number of new infected: here there are +438 cases thanks to almost 55 thousand swabs – the highest number of regional tests of the day – with a positive rate of 0.8% which is lower than the national one (here the bulletin). Follows the Campania above 300: +316 cases with a 1.8% rate calculated on 17,150 analyzes.

The victims
The death toll remains high: they are 63 against 65 yesterday. And as every day, 12 past deaths are counted in the saddest figure: 7 are in Campania, out of the 16 deaths reported today by the region (the highest figure of the day) and 5 are in Sicily out of the 7 reported today, as indicated in the note *. Six regions record zero bereavement, to which the province of Bolzano is added: these are Liguria, Abruzzo, Umbria, Basilicata, Molise and Valle d’Aosta.

The health system
Hospitalization in the medical area and in resuscitation is decreasing. The beds occupied in ordinary Covid wards I’m -101 (yesterday -69), for a total of 3,317 hospitalized. The beds occupied in intensive care (TI) are -9 – this is the balance between the people who left and those who entered ICU – (yesterday -29), bringing the total of the most seriously ill patients to 450, with 23 entrances to resuscitation (yesterday 19).
