The Swiss authorities have ordered a ten-day quarantine measure against 300 people who went to a Zurich nightclub on June 21. Several individuals who had visited the Flamingo Club that day had indeed tested positive for the coronavirus, said local health authorities.
The manager of the nightclub provided the authorities with a list containing the data of visitors that evening. The tracing team was therefore able to inform the revelers in time. The number of new coronavirus infections has risen recently in Switzerland, with 69 new cases in 24 hours, about three times more than at the start of the week.
