Coach Indonesian National team, Shin Tae Yong appreciate the performance of his team after a 0-0 draw against Vietnam in the third match of Group B AFF Cup 2020 (2021) at Bishan Stadium, Singapore, Wednesday (15/12) evening WIB.
The Indonesian national team appeared focused and disciplined for 90 minutes. Despite being continuously pressured by the Vietnamese players, the Red and White Team were able to keep their goal safe from conceding.
The success of holding Vietnam is also evidence of the young players chosen by Shin Tae Yong in the Indonesian national team. The South Korean coach also assessed that the young Indonesian national team squad was growing.
“Currently, our team has many young players. Until now they have followed my philosophy well. The ability of the players is increasing. I am proud of the performance of the players tonight,” said Shin Tae Yong in a press conference session after the match.

“Vietnam is the best team. In terms of ability, we are less than Vietnam but from a mental point of view we are stronger,” he said.
